Additional Planetary Design Double Shot Travel French Press Mug Cornflower Blue Information
|
Planetary Design has revolutionized the century old art of brewing coffee and tea via French Press. The Double-Shot deskpress mugs, constructed of 18/8 marine grade stainless steel are incredibly durable and equally impressive in their ability to retain heat for extended periods of time. The patented double filtration system, modeled after a hydraulic cylinder, ensures that grounds will not pass through, creating the perfect brew of coffee or tea. Simply, pour hot water over coffee grounds or loose leaf tea, let steep, push stopper down and enjoy the best brew around. No need to pour into a separate container, you can drink right from the pot. Additionally, the Double-Shot was designed specifically for the commuter; fitting into most vehicle drink holders and includes a built-in storage container in the bottom to carry enough coffee or tea to brew 2 more cups. The mug presses are ideal for the coffee or tea connoisseur that doubles as an outdoor enthusiast or professional on the run. The Double Shot is available in Cornflower Blue, Mango, Wasabi, Iris, Pink, Chrome and Black and comes with an additional lid to convert the press into a conventional mug.

What Customers Say About Planetary Design Double Shot Travel French Press Mug Cornflower Blue:

I just scraped this off with a knife and now it is fine. This is great mug. I love it. It makes some great coffee though and it is super convenient. I hardly ever get any grounds in my coffee unless it is in the last sip or two. The only drawbacks I have found thus far is that there is no cover for the opening so coffee can spill out pretty easily if you are driving and hit some bumps or have to stop or turn quickly, and the Planetary Design logo on the bottom of the mug sticks out too far and so it sits on that and is off balance.
Used it almost everyday. Yes it delivers great coffee. If you are sick of those fragile pretty presses, I would seriously recommend this one. It has never failed me. Yes It is easy to clean, but I am really impressed with its long lasting durability. I've owned mine for two years.
He loves it and has found it easy to use. Bought this as a gift for my husband, who was suffering from bad office coffee.
She wanted one because unlike the other French Press travel mug she has, this one has a screen over the hole you drink from thereby completely eliminating any grounds from getting through to you. All you have to find is a source of boiling water. These are great. Plus, with the extra storage feature you can take a cup to go. We think they're the best travel mug ever. I already had one & bought this one for my wife. She loves it.
I think this is because all the grounds are still in the mug and affect the taste after a while even though they're trapped in the bottom. Also, I was surprised at how warm the outside of the mug got. I use this mug during my commute to work. This problem is kind of inherent in the design so it's not really an issue. It seems to keep the coffee warm long enough, but I didn't expect the outside of the mug to get so warm.Overall, neither of my problems with the mug will stop me from using it, and I would probably buy the product again. Overall I'd say it works pretty well and I have been very satisfied with it. I just put maybe 3 tbsp of coarse ground coffee in the bottom, fill it up with hot water about an inch from the top, wait a few minutes and press the plunger down.My complaints: If you let the coffee sit in the mug for a while it starts to taste funny.
